Our friends from LiNK (Libery in North Korea) have launched a new campaign called TheHundred.  LiNK has been doing great work on behalf of the oppressed in North Korea, and they’re inviting you to join in the rescue of one hundred refugees.

Watch this great video below:

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Charles Lee has written a great post with more information about LiNK and TheHundred, and Angry Asian Man has a nice write-up as well.  From AAM’s site:

They’re not only challenging everyone to donate to the cause, but also to spread the word by any means available — blog, Tweet, Facebook — to let people know about The Hundred.  See the video and learn more, go here (and be sure to include the hashtag “#theHundred” at the end of your tweets).

Our family was pleasantly surprised last week when we stopped by The Sweet Factory at a local mall and saw this at the register:

LiNK at Sweet Factory

Justin Wheeler, LiNK’s Vice President for Global Awareness, told me that the owner of The Sweet Factory is a LiNK supporter and has put these donation boxes in Sweet Factory and Cinnabon stores.  Incredible!  So, next time you pop in for a sugar fix, make sure you also support the great work LiNK is doing to help rescue victims of injustice in North Korea.
