I really like that phrase, "intentionally, inadvertently, or vicariously." In many ways, the narrative form of the blogosphere has been a great help in my spiritual formation. Sometimes, it is through purposeful participation -- at other times, it is through randomly ending up in a helpful discussion... and, for me, it often comes through simply listening in. * * * I am all for pleasant surprises! Perhaps because ministry can be so arduous and thankless, these discussions often end up being pretty negative in tone... These are important and necessary discussions, but I love hearing good news too! David — Thanks for the kind words.
